Tonight we learned learned and discussed several strategies and appeals that will be important in successfully completing our Project II Argument Papers:

• Ethos


• Logos


• Pathos


• Making a Claim and a thesis statement


• Defining the terms of your argument


• Developing your argument with details and support from at least three sources.


• Counterarguments and rebuttals


• Considering your audience


• The importance of critical reading in analyzing your sources.


• Persuasive Techniques
